About Us

The outdoor living division of a family company building in North Texas since 1996.

Argyle Patio Covers designs and builds cedar patio covers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and fire pits across North Texas. The company behind it, The JBN Group, has served local homeowners since 1996, and the same crews build every project we put our name on.

Where the name comes from

A Family Company, Named for Family

A family name stands behind this company, and the work has to be good enough to carry it.

Augie founded The JBN Group in 1996, and it grew from home remodeling into a family of specialty divisions. Argyle Patio Covers is the outdoor living division, built around cedar work.

The name is a promise about how the company runs. Family names go on work the family has to stand behind, in towns where our customers are also our neighbors.

That is why one company, one crew, and one written price stand behind every cover, pergola, and fireplace on this site.

What the division builds

One Division, One Specialty: The Backyard

The parent company remodels whole homes. This division does one thing: outdoor living, built in cedar and stone at your home.

How this company works

The Rules We Build By

Six working rules have carried this company since 1996. They are the same on a small pergola and a full outdoor kitchen.

01

One Company

The JBN Group sells it, builds it, and stands behind it. Your project is never handed to another company.

02

Our Own Crews

Carpenters and masons who work for us every week, not strangers hired for your job.

03

Cedar Only

We build in real cedar and stone. We do not sell metal or aluminum covers, and we will tell you why.

04

Written Firm Price

The price is set in writing at the free visit, before you commit to anything.

05

Permits and HOA Handled

Your city's permit and your HOA's design review are filed by us, as part of the project.

06

We Come to You

Design, measuring, building, and the final walk all happen at your home, on your schedule.

How we meet customers

We Work at Your Home, Not an Office

Our company address is 125 Old Alton Dr, Suite 4, in Denton. It is an office, not a showroom, and customers do not come to it.

Everything about a project happens at your house. The first visit, the measuring, the design talk, the build, and the final walk all take place in your yard.

That is deliberate. A patio cover is designed for one yard, one roofline, and one family's evenings, and none of that can be judged from an office desk.

  • Free first visit at your home, not a sales office
  • Designs drawn from your yard's real measurements
  • Crews that build on site, where the cover will stand
  • Final walk at your home before the job is done

The company behind the crews

One Company, All These Towns

Every project on this site is built by The JBN Group, Inc., through its outdoor living division, Argyle Patio Covers. One company, one standard, since 1996.

From first call to final walk

How a Project Runs Here

The process has not changed much since 1996, because it works. You always know the next step.

It starts with a call and a free visit at your home. It ends with a walk around the finished build, with the yard clean and the price already settled in writing.

  • One contact at the company from start to finish
  • The design and price agreed before any work starts
  • Build dates set around your household, not ours
  • Progress you can see from your own back door
  • The yard cleaned before we leave, every time

We file the city permit and HOA review, then our own crews build on site at your home.

4

Walk It Together

We walk the finished build with you, answer for every detail, and leave the yard clean.

Why the work looks the way it does

Built by Hand, On Site

A cedar cover is not a kit. Beams are cut, fitted, and leveled in the yard where they will stand.

Stone is set piece by piece by masons who do this work every week. Posts land on real footings, sized for the span and the soil under your yard.

That slower way of building is the point. It is how a cover ends up square, solid, and matched to the house it shades, instead of bolted on and close enough.

About Us Questions and Answers

How long has The JBN Group been in business?

Since 1996. Augie Reali founded the company in Denton, and Argyle Patio Covers is its outdoor living division, covering cedar covers, pergolas, kitchens, fireplaces, and fire pits.

Who will actually build my project?

Our own crews. The carpenters and masons who measure your yard are the ones who build in it, and the work is never handed off to a company you have not met.

Do I come to your office or showroom?

No. Our Denton office is not a showroom and customers do not come to it. Every visit, from the first free consultation to the final walk, happens at your home.

Is the company insured and rated?

Yes. The JBN Group is fully insured on every project and holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, with 5-star reviews from customers on Google.

Why do you build with cedar only?

Cedar is what we know and what lasts here. It takes North Texas heat, can be cut and fitted on site, and ages well. We do not sell metal or aluminum covers.

How does a project with you start?

With a free visit at your home. We measure, design for your yard, and set the full price in writing before you commit. Call 972-471-9167 to set the visit.
